At your first visit
to John P Barinaga DMD Orthodontics, Dr. Barinaga will do a thorough examination and explain his diagnosis and treatment recommendations for your particular case in detail, for FREE. You will learn exactly why orthodontic treatment is important for the health, integrity, and harmony of your teeth and face. Photographs will be taken, and you will view a short informative video about orthodontic treatment. This informative consultation visit is provided to you at no cost; however, you will receive a detailed cost analysis for your treatment, which will include the many payment options available for your particular case.
Treating Orthodontic Problems With State-Of-The-Art Equipment
At Barinaga Orthodontics, we use 3D Digital Scanners (instead of the old dreaded impression technique) to get an accurate digital impression of your teeth and gum. With this state-of-the-art digital impression system, we can digitally capture a detailed 3D model of your teeth and gums (no more goop your mouth!). This process is more comfortable than the old putty-based impressions, faster, and can offer a superior clinical endpoint.
What Can I Expect During a Regular Appointment?
Following your consultation and records appointments, you are ready to have your braces / appliances placed. This appointment should take approximately one hour. Then you will see us at regular intervals – usually every four to eight weeks – for an adjustment, which usually takes 15 to 30 minutes. Because we understand the importance of being away from school / work the least amount of time, we offer appointments beginning at 8:00 AM. Patients are seen by appointment only. We make every effort to be on time for our patients and ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. If you cannot keep an appointment, please call us
as soon as possible.
Take Advantage of Our New Digital Impression Technique
During the impression process, you can breathe or swallow as you normally would. You can even pause during the process if you need to sneeze or just want to ask a question. The scanner gives us a 3D model of your mouth that we use with all our orthodontic treatments - whether it be Aligner Treatment or Traditional Braces!
